Take the Pill... take the risk!

I never tried using birth control pills since I got married because my brother who is a physician warned me of its many side effects. The yaz lawsuit in the US is one example of the many dangerous illness it brought to women. Sicknesses that are fatal. So to all the women out there.. be careful in choosing your birth control pill... or better go for the natural way of birth control. What do you think?

GT : Health Resolution

They say New Year's Resolution are made to be broken... but I say not for me this 2011 :

As I am making this post, the whole church is mourning over the death of our pastor's wife. Her battle with the big C is finally over . It is genetic and it was diagnosed when it was already in stage 4.

Anyway, because of her demise, I am now taking seriously my new year's health resolution as follows :

1. Sleep as early as 9:30 pm with a minimum of Ten hours a day.. ( no matter how tempting it is to finish the assignments .... no more IPL.. let it expire, anyway it's just $ 1-3..Lol)
2. Exercise 3x per week ( Taebo, biking or jogging)
3. Only Fish and Vegetables at home , occasional meat and poultry when going out for functions
4. Drink 10 glasses a day
5. No more coffee .. just water or juice for breakfast and lunch and Tea in the evening

Got lots of health resolutions listed in my notebook. Above are just the major...major.. GOOD LUCK GIRLS!

Not Dengue fever

I hatee when my kids are sick, specially when the fever’s temperature are unstable ( goes up and down) . Just like three days , my boywas high with fever and with rashes on her legs. I told my hubby, it can be “Dengue Fever” but when I consulted my brother-in-law who is a medical doctor he told me not to worry. My son didn’t manifest signs to consider it “Dengue Fever”. Now, he’s well . Thank God.

Water Therapy

This is what our family are doing these days. Me, my hubby and the kids are competing each other on the number of cups we already taken… Lol! Today, I won by drinking 11 glasses of water .It may sound silly but it helps combat the cough and cold brought by the rainy season. The only disadvantage with water therapy ? Is the discomfort in going to the comfort room! Lol!
